They made Zangief into an orc- can't say whether or not this makes him look less or more handsome.

HAHAHA...yeah he does look quite a bit like zangief..just without the large bushy bits of leg hair and beard. It'd probably the short mohawk thing and overall bulk.

Yeah, I always wondered why Capcom decided to go with the male version of the "butterface" for Zangief. You have this muscle-bound character who prefers to fight in a very skimpy pair of briefs. He looks like something out of the Folson Street Fair, except for the fact that he is just so ugly with the beard and mohawk combination. Of course, considering how iconic the Street Fighters have become, every one is now instantly recognizable.
