SOOO I also got me some poison dart frogs for insanely cheap. (yay for Christmas sales at reptile shows!)
I got 3 Epipedobates anthonyi 'Santa Isabel' and omg... I'm so excited. I've loved frogs but never had a lot of luck with them. I think I have finally found out what i have been doing wrong tho and like.. dang these babies are already eating and exploring and are super active and bold.
I'm so insanely excited. like omg.

Oh! They're not poisonous when in captivity. They eat an insect that gives them the toxicity, and keepers usually only feed fruit flies. So we avoid that all together! But it's not advised to hold them because they absorb chemicals that are often on our hands through thier skin. So less handling is better.
