Been trying a different workflow this week. I'm rarely satisfied with the quality of my linework, to the point that the only thing that really makes me happy are my inks through Expression (which is extremely time consuming). In an effort to ditch linework completely I'm tracing my artwork straight into Illustrator...and will then plop said picture into Photoshop to add full rendering (ditching the dark-green holdling lines). Here's a makeshift sample of what my illustrator workspace looks like with the original pencils, the web-graphic for the scaled-down Bowie knife, and my main referece piece for Bonnie (screencap from Leroy & Stitch). Should know in a week or so if my full rendering attempt with Bonnie will work in Photoshop...if you don't see anything, it probably failed. Dunno at this point if the pad on the bottom of her foot is the right color...or if it should even be there....anyone know?
