only think i can say cut the blister skin off it help dry up the area but as friendly advice your going have let that area dry out least a day or two it can heal

You should consider putting on duct tape on those spots under your socks. My boots like to do the same thing and the duct tape does a good job preventing it. Also works on blisters!

had something happen like that on the bottom heel of my foot....was a quarter inch deep and sloughed off partially and hurt to walk on it.......used scissors to pick and cut at it till i cut it all out and off. XD........felt weird for a month.

I think I know what happend. Your sock must of rubbed at the skin and your flip flop had tighten the sock, thus taking away air from the skin.

Your sandal was rubbing, make sure the straps on your sandal can't move and maybe consider wearing thicker socks until it's healed.

I had this same problem back when I was younger, rubbing sandal straps are a bitch.
Don't forget to remove the bandage for a bit each day, fresh air helps the healing process as well, just make sure no dirt gets in.

it was OBVIOUSLY because you wore both socks and sandals, socks are usually made of wool or cotton, which traps heat and can scrape against skin, causing blisters. but if you only wore sandals, then you wouldn't have a SKIN CHIP(tm pending) hanging off your foot...
