This is Kinoshi kneeling down
This is also an experimentation of coloring, hoping to add more color to my gallery than traditional sketches.
I decided that I wanted to experiment with coloring where sketches are still part of my work, yet I still need practice when it comes to coloring, line art, etc. Something like those artists that does digital artwork and as well as talented work when it comes to lineart and such. It doesn't take them time to make line art on some artist, but it does to me when I go from sketch to line art, it takes me hours on end and if not, days just to fully corporate a fully-cleaned, colored work.
Again, this is an experimentation of my coloring which took me roughly an hour to make. I don't know about line art though considering that it takes me a lot longer to go through.
However, I would like some more input based on this type of experiment of mines. What do you guys think?

I must say, I am more of a fan of lined works done in pencil than traditional, but colouring in digital can be very awesome and allow you to preserve and retain your lined tradition works without worry of ruining them or anything.
I quite frankly think this looks great. Clean simply and follows the texture of your original drawing.
May I ask, did you use another layer and set it to multiply to colour this?

I oroginally copied the layer and I first used the paint tool and set the brush tool to use "color burn" to darken the lines. I then used "multiply" and colored over the burned edges to darken them more. Once that was done, I proceeded to make seperate layers to give each color their own layer without giving each other any problems. I also made sure to set the layers at a certain opacity (43-45%) so that the line art shows below.
Alright, thats pretty cool :) The colour burn is a good idea too! Coloured lines definately look nicer ;)
I can tell you another way of doing it if you are interested, though, that being said though, there is absolutely nothing wrong with how you do yours, Im just happy to share methods if you are interested, and it might give you more control of your line art as a layer so you dont have to worry about overlyaing effects effecting one another if you ever get into shading over base colours :)

sorry for late reply had things going on ^^;
And alrighty, well here is my method and you can see if there's anything you would pick out of it that you might like (I use Photoshop btw! so I dont know if you can do these things in other programs)
MAKING A SEE THROUGH LINE ART OUT OF YOUR SCANNED PIC
- open the scanned pic in photoshop
- go to the CHANNELS tab (next to LAYERS and PATHS tabs) and the Shift+ctrl+i and click on any of the colours doesnt matter what.
This will highlight the white areas
- go to the 'Select' tab up top and then click 'Inverse' (this will select the black only)
- Now make a new layer, select the paint bucket tool, with colour black, and making sure you still on this new empty layer and stuff is still selected, click to fill in.
- Now make your scanned drawing layer disappear by clicking the eye on the layer, and it should leave you with JUST your line art, but also see through so now you can make a layer underneath your new lineart layer and paint normally, without having to use effects.
Now you base colour!
- make a layer under your new lineart layer and paint the base colours normally, as you have in your picture here
EASY SHADING
- make a bew layer between your base colour layer and your line art layer
- set the layer to 'multiply'
- select a grey colour mid to light is best, and paint in the shadows
COLOURING YOUR LINE ART EASY
- go to your transparent line art layer you made and click the layer, then on the LAYERS tab, click the 'lock transparent pixels' icon next to the word Lock: and the little brush icon.
- now select a colour, and paint, it should only paint on your line art.
NOTE if any of this is going over lines or the picture is muddy with colour, you may need to adjust the contrast and midtones of your scanned picture before putting it in so that there is a lot of sharp white and blacks
Hope this helps some :)

It's great to see you up 'n' posting a bit more of your artworks, Jbud - it's always a joy to behold your creative efforts, and this is no different.
As for my thoughts on the piece itself, apart from the character, and his charismatic appeal, I dare say, all is quite splendid, and well-made, and well-produced, put forth. Not only is he already a fancily fetching fur, but your added work onto him, furthers his feels, on the topic.
I personally, really liked how you did the line-work, and coloring, and when it comes to you, I think I prefer it like this, with the sketch being partially visible/partially obstructed (by coloring), as it gives it a less, clean and sheen look, and instead offers something with a bit more bite, and grit, weight.
The downside, of sometimes inking and cleaning up a sketch, is that it can come off too neat, and what feel there were before so (sketch), goes lost, in the transfer process inking) - this, I feel, is a grand middle-ground wherein the residues of the sketch-work, remains and gives their presence to the piece, along with it still having some more defined edges (lines), whilst still not being too clean[ed]. The colors on top of so, is what really seals the deal, and I must say, I am impressed by your skills.
I have seldom seen you do works of color, but I do say, now that I have, color me impressed (ahaha!) - ... sorry for the dumb pun... :b
He's great though, and you're likewise great for making him so grand, by your gloriously artistic means. For surely, when I saw him in my inbox, I could not believe it was you behind so - hence, even more so now, it is like an honor, to have the allowed ability, to commission one such as yourself; as I admire you so, in many ways, Jrogenshin~
