Quite impressive. That's pretty exciting to land a well known artist on commissioning you. Your work keeps getting better and better :)

Sadly, that was not the case. She was doing art for me, so I decided to make her a gift. I do wish what you said had happened though, maybe someday..

I was indeed speechless!! I just couldn't believe it - you said in your email that you were worried your mystery gift would be a disappointment or something, but this completely blew my expectations out of the water! I had no idea you made these, and it is BEAUTIFULLY crafted. I wore it as a necklace for the rest of the con and have been showing it off ever since I got home :D This is seriously the coolest present I've ever received at a con. The sabre fangs, yellow eyes and of course the green bandanna are all such wonderful little personal touches - I really want to (and think I shall!) draw my character as an ermine-dragon incarnate now that I see how cool this looks!

Do you mind if I re-post these photos? I've got some photos of me wearing it at the con, too, but these really show the piece well by itself; I'll be posting a big thank-you to you when I write up my post-con report and I definitely want to include some photos of this dragon in it ^.^

Meant to reply to this last night, but I spent part of the night crying (still trying to get over PCD) and then I kinda blacked out. People say crying actually takes a lot out of you, and I'm starting to believe them.. =>_>=

I'm just so very glad, and even moreso relieved, that you like it. I know it's nothing amazing like those maillers across from you had (I was drooling at some of their stuff too!), but it's something and certainly a start (I -will- make a bra top someday.. when I can afford to get the materials to try it finally~
