Samantha's real parents were slain by champions of an Astranian reclamation mission, the master Champion in charge discovered shortly after that the solars he had been sent to clear out had simply been trying to farm the area and though armed were no sort of military installation.
Worse still the Master Champion discovered a young solar child now orphaned, perhaps out of shame at his mistake, or to honor the brave parents who had died to defend her the Atranian officer took the child to raise as his own.

Away from the prying eyes of Astranian society proper, Samantha's family chose to relocate to the scenic countryside.
Life is hard but Solars are a hardy sort and Samantha is more then strong enough to give her frail family a hand.
Though quite vigorous even Solars have their limit, depicted here is Samantha giving perhaps an unwanted hugging hand to her adoptive sister after a long day of work.
