Here is another Ininbi commission for
york_indayla
I loved the idea of these character types, and as with the sketch commission version, I enjoyed doing a free-writing, as it were, with drawing. So, here we have a more polished up, fine-tuned version of the pair. It is worth noting that I've been wanting to draw a spider-type character for a while. And combined with the anticipation, then release of In This Moment's "Black Widow" album, the influence is apparent in this piece.
I must've done a couple other sketched versions of this, before coming to this one. It was one of those double-edged swords, I suppose? It was amazing to have such creative freedom. But on the other hand, it was easy to get into my own head too much about tweaking this and that. If nothing else, I appreciated the challenge, heh.
Enjoy.
Characters belong to their creators, art to me.
Quick Note:If you read my journals, you'll notice that I mentioned my scanner broke last night. I am not without my back-ups, but the scanner used here is of a far lesser quality. I never like to undersell my work, but I would be remiss if I did not mention it.

Well golly, would you look at that?
By all means Daddyfox, you can give these characters names of their own. They're as much your creations in a way. Heh, I can only imagine housekeeping must be a nightmare what with spiderweb residue catching everywhere and mini-spiders catching in your cereal.
'Widow' Sure likes to...use her limbs in imaginative ways, and her conjoined partner I'm sure is all too aware of this behavior.
Although, one wonders if you Daddyfox would ever object to living with the 'Widow' creature bonded to you all your life

You know, it creates an interesting dillemma, IF Widow was connected to a male. Sure, he'd be attracted to her, and she'd be flaunting the sexuality dripping from her... and spiders. BUT, would he risk a black widow following her nature? And could she help it?
Aaaanyway, yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if I keep Widow in mind for other projects, and what not. I really like her. Glad you do too.
