Ahhh, another year of arting, though this year was definitely one of the hardest years to go through emotionally and it really showed in my sudden disappearance and lack of communication with close friends and stream. It's been good and bad, but for the first time I can hold my head up and look forward to great things that are happening. I'm finally emotionally stable and thats a huge thing for me having gotten out of emotional abuse that was ongoing for 2 years and shows no signs of stopping. Take yourself out of the equation, I didn't want to be a victim any longer.
2014 has been riddled with death, heartache and frustration, but the holes have been filled with love, appreciation and family. My art is starting to pick up in my opinion and I can focus with a more clear and level head on what I'm doing as my full time work.
I've decided NOT to be apart of the dealers den this year at CF, as you can see from above April and May weren't really art months aside from badges and convention prep. I want a break and to have fun.
This year I created my fursona, Kalin - a gypsy vanner. January's image is one of her first images, and you see her again in June.
Lapres got a make over but will debut in a few days time. She is no longer teal/orange/white or a stareater.
I've learned new techniques for cellshading that I'm applying to everything I do, and makes images more crisp looking and pleasing to the eye over anything before June. It takes a lot longer, but the end product is worth it.a
