As Ada'hy was trying to guide the archers and lead the attack, he had to move a bit from his friends' side. And inevitably he finally got out of complete protection and became and easy target for the clever opponent. And a clever one there was on the ennemies' ranks. He didn't notive the shadow coming by his back and the cold dagger ready to hit him. Or, at least, he did, too late.
The opponent yelled as he ran and jumped on his ennemy to deal the death blow to his foolish life. In the name of the same Gods, he was praying. In the name of the same Gods, he was fighting. And, in the name of the same Gods, he was about to steal a life. For what he thought should please them the most.
Gods were maybe not pleased at all by his war. Or maybe Gods just didn't exist at all. But from the same shadows he came from, the ones he believed to provide him victory his own murderer came.
She saved him. She saved the one she loved so much, and she took a life for it. No she didn't feel happy nor victorious. Death could only cause sorrow and guilt on her heart. She didn't want all this. She didn't call for all these pain, hatred and sadness. But what else could she do now ?... Peace wasn't an easy thing to defend, he knew it. He'll make her undertand. How brave she was, how strong they'll need to be again. Together. As long as they'll stay all together. As long as they'll all remain a big united family, everything would be just alright. And they wouldn't have fought for nothing. There was absolutely nothing wrong and it wasn't non-sense to defend our family and convictions at all costs.
