Species Concept:
Poochings are flaff tortoises, so the usual armor that protects their bodies is substituted by very soft fur. (This one is a spring/summer lenght, it grows longer in winter) The only remaining hard outer shell is the one on the front of their heads. They have poor eyesight and rely heavily on smell and on the vibrations sensed through their feelers, on the ears (which are not actually ears but the amplifier for the vibrations) and on the sides of their chests. Male have four 'ear' feelers, while females only have two. Males are also stockier and often have much brighter colours in comparison to females, who are slimmer and have more muted colours. They're quite friendly and love physical contact.
