Operation Get Sly a Date: Preparations
So as soon as Jade, Goku, Josh, Jacob, Isaac, Hiro and Smoke got Sly to her destination, (after Jacob, Goku, and Smoke got their butts handed to them), Jade went on to meet Sky to pick Sly's date. Meanwhile Keri, Stormy, and Nina were out picking out Sly's outfit. This was not easy, as they went from store to store to find something that was just right.
When they entered yet another store Nina reminded them. "We have to find something that is not too prissy but not too casual. Something that suits her personality." And by some miracle Stormy actually found something, a silk purple blouse, and a purple skirt to match. Nina and Keri both agreed that was perfect for Sly. Also Stormy threw in a pair of loose skimpy undergarments. This got a weird look from the two. Just how far does she think Sly's gonna get on her date? But she quickly said in her defense, "It loose and should provide a lot comfort and freedom." She made sense so they went with it. After they paid for Keri called Jade's cell. "Jade, we got the wardrobe. How things on you part?"
"We got Sly and she's currently getting her makeover."
"Great. Now let's go meet Sky to find Sly's date."
So Keri went on as Stormy and Nina went to the others who are giving Sly the makeover. Keri and Jade met up and found Sky in an open area in the middle of the campus looking throughout the passing guys. Keri approaches Sky. "Any luck?"
Sky sighs in disappointment "No. No one seems right for her." Just then she saw someone that brought a big smile on her face. Jade and Keri looks at the guy Sky's looking at. "Well he doesn't look to bad."
Keri reads up on him through her sidekick. "Personality wise Sly might actually like him." She then turns to Sky. "Sky? She's your sister so you have the final say in this." But apparently Sky already flew up to him with a cheerful and excited smile. "Hi! Would you like to go on a date with my Sly?" The mon chuckles. "Someone named Sly, you say? Well, I do believe I can and would certainly love to if you all approve. I wish not to cause rifts of contradiction between you all." Jade wasn't sure of this guy. "Keri, let me see that." And she takes Keri's sidekick and reads the info on him. "Well at least there's a good chance that she won't kill him."
Keri was ok with it but not with Sky's method. "But Sky you can't just go up to any random person and did he just say yes?"
"Yes he did. I just know he and Sly were made for each other. I just know it!!"
"I don't know about that but if you say so."
Jade also approved. "It's good by us."
Keri takes her sidekick and turns to the guy. "Is there anything you want to know before hand?"
He patiently listens to their conversation before nodding to Keri's question. "If you could, please, summarize her personality along with what she appears to like and dislike. I would not want to offend her upon first impression."
"Well she's more of the intellectual type, that tries to appear though and that she doesn't care."
"But she's really a caring person. She's into music, literature, and she loves ice skating. Also she doesn't like perverts at all." Sky added.
"That would be a one way ticket to getting your but whooped." Jade warned him.
"She also don't like jocks or bragging too much."
"And I've even got her into some video games and surfing."
After receiving the info he told them. "Well, I assure you I am neither pervert nor a jock. Music, literature, and ice skating sounds utterly delightful, I myself loving to read poetry. But, I won't bore you with my own details, though she does sound like a rather lovely girl. You offered me to go on a date with her....may I ask where to?"
And it just hit them that they forgot to plan that part. Jade whispers to Keri. "Did you think we even get this far?" And Keri shakes her head.
Sky thinks about it for a moment. "Wow haven't thought about that.... I guess where ever you like!"
He said "Well....I have no preferences in all honesty and would rather treat to lady to a dinner she would like, not something of my personal taste. You could always ask her what and where she likes to eat and pass the info onto me if you'd like." And they agreed that Sly would tell him when they meet. Before going to check how things were going, they told him to meet Sly and Sky in front of the girl's dorm in a couple of hours.
As they went on to where Sly's makeover is taking place, Keri wondered "How you think Sly's makeover is going?" But as soon as Jade was about to answer someone answered for her. "AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" was what they heard before an airborne Goku crashed into Jade ending with her on top of him. "Goku?! What happened?"
"*groan* Sly woke up, what you think?" were the last word Goku said before fainting. Sky immediately rushed in to see everything in chaos and a very angry Sly strapped in the chair. "S-sly?"
Sly turned the chair around to face Sky and bombarded her with questions. "Sky tell me what the hell is going on? What this talk about a date? Why did these assholes abducted me just out of nowhere?!"
"Ummm.... We sorta set you up on a date... And they were supposed to take you to get a makeover...."
"WHAT!?!?!? What made you think I even want this?! Do you even think for one minute to ask me?! You know get my opinion on this?!?"
Just as Sly continued to yell at poor Sky, she couldn't take anymore and broke into tears. This quickly cooled Sly's anger. "I *sniff* You were just so angry all the time. *sniff* I *sob* wanted to help you find someone to make you happy." Sky continued crying. Sly quickly calmed down at this sight. "Sky? Sky? Please calm down. I didn't mean to snap at you like that." If there was one thing she couldn't bear was seeing her little Pidgeotto sister in tears. "You put a lot of work into this didn't you?" Sky just sniff and nods. "Allright I'll go along with it." Upon hearing this Sky lift her head and a big smile comes across her face. "You would?"
"Yeah. I mean you and everyone did put a lot of effort into this. Might as well at least give it a shot."
Sky immediately jumped up and gave Sly a hug. "THANK YOU. THANK YOU! You won't regret this." And with that they cleaned up the place so Justin and Les could continue Sly's makeover. They worked long and hard on Sly, cleaning and styling up Sly's fur and hair. At the end of it Justin turned Sly to a mirror and announced, "There she is done!" And all look on to a totally different Sneasle. Her inner natural beauty has been brought out. Her hair is now strait and flowing is brushed back revealing her beautiful dark blue eyes. To say the least everyone was completely shocked. Sky immediately hugged her. "You. Look. Great!" Sly looked in the mirror and couldn't believe the Sneasle looking back was her. "That's me?"
Keri then came up to her with a bag with the clothes. "Yes it is! Now put these on."
"Dare I ask?"
"Nope just put them on."
Sly complied and put on the wardrobe. And when she came out in the purple blouse and skirt combo everyone was pleased with the look. She even got a few whistles from the group. And Sky approached her with something in her hand. "All it needs is one thing to complete it." She presented Sly a wonderful gold chain with a dark blue gem that matched Sly's eyes. "Sky wh-where did you get this?"
Sky just smiles. "I got it from Stormy's friend, Bling I recalled."
Sly was obviously touched by this and put it around her neck. "You really didn't need to do this."
Then Jade said with a smirk on her face. "Don't be like that. Of course we had to. That's what friends are for."
Sly looked around at everyone who offered to help her, of all people her. "Thanks. Everyone. I don't know what to say."
Goku yelled out from the group, "Well you could always pay for our medical bills!" This caused laughter to break out before Keri pointed out. "Or you could go before you're late for the date."
And with this Sky flew at top speed, pulling Sly by the arm of course, to the girl's dorm. They found the guy Sky, Keri, and Jade got for Sly. And turned out to be...... continued.
