Welcome to my very first character auction!
Just for a bit of background on these special auctions, as I make my pendants and figurines, to me these are more than just casts. Being hand painted, every design is a unique piece of art, and has felt like the pendant is imbued with a bit of the essence of that individual character. As I create these characters, and as I paint the ornament, the story of the character is just as important as the colors and markings, and is consciously kept in mind throughout the painting process. To push the idea further of each one of these pendants being their own personality, I've decided to introduce these limited character auctions! On top of the Shisa already being limited edition, these particular paint jobs will never show up again on another Shisa ornament. You'll be adopting your very own mini guardian lion-dog, and be able to physically hold your new character! I would like to hold these once every one to two months, so again, these will be a rare treat I hope all of you enjoy. :)

Character Background:
Everyone meet Kaldr the Shisa! His life began in a remote mountain village which is centered around an active temple. The Shisa here are bred for one purpose- to guard and serve the temple and its dwellers. Unfortunately cold places make for harsh lives, and Kaldr was born with a personality which never quite fit with the qualities which temple life demanded, which surely meant a life on the streets. As fate would have it, a wandering hermit saved Kaldr from being abandoned at a young age. His "one person" and secretive personality serves him and the hermit well to this day. Each Shisa has their own unique energy signature which aids them in their duties, and is often seen near the creature in orb form. For Kaldr, ice has always been his specialty and shows up as a clear orb swirled with blue. In his younger days he would rely on his freezing claws to protect, but as he ages, a single glance from his icy blue eyes can stop those who would do harm in their tracks.

•The character pictured above.
•A high-res, non-watermarked version of the reference sheet, along with a smaller internet version.
•The photo turn-around of the pendant for further reference.
•An actual Shisa ornament painted as this character.
•A physical copy of the reference sheet for you to take to conventions.
•A special offer of 10% off future commissions of this character.
Ladder Options:
$120 - Meeting this will also get you two expressions/headshot sketches which may be added to the reference sheet.
$185 - Meeting this will include one Full Body graphite drawing which may be added to the reference sheet.

•Serious bids only. Please do not withdraw, hide, or edit your bids.
•Please no comments in the bid thread which are not actual bids.
•This auction is in USD through Paypal.
•The winning bidder must Email me within 24 hours of the auction ending. No notes, email only!
•Full payment must be made within three days of the invoice being sent.
•If the payment is not made within these times, the next highest bidder may be contacted.
•Inability to follow these rules may make you ineligible to bid on future designs.
For the Winner:
•Email me at ccarpenter (at) wintersoulstudios (dot) com. I will need to know your Paypal address along with your physical address so that I may ship the pendant and printed ref sheet. Also let me know if you'd like any changes to the reference (read below for details on ref).
•I will be sending a Paypal invoice, which will need to be paid three days within being sent.
•On the reference sheet I can change his name and the description at no cost (if, for example, you have a different back story for him). Optional- I can also add your name (character owned by...). For the ref sheet, I may also be able to make minor changes to markings, the ears, etc., just note that depending on the complexity of the change I may charge an additional fee. The physical ornament/pendant may not be changed at this point. If you would like changes to the reference sheet, please let me know in the initial email.
•You are welcome to expand and build upon his story, markings, physical build, add anthro versions, etc. I would prefer if you did not completely re-design him to the point of being unrecognizable. Owning this character does not give permission to take credit for this drawing/reference sheet, the original design shown here in this auction, or the physical pendant. Also, some sort of credit or reference in the modified versions and artwork of this character would be greatly appreciated!
•If this character is traded at any point, I will not be able to make changes to the original ref sheet which comes with this auction.
•Shipping is included. I will be shipping as soon as possible after the auction, but bear in mind that the reference/certificate will only be printed after your final approval, which means if changes are necessary it may delay the time for shipping.
•I would love to make more art of this character! So, this also comes with a "welcome back" 10% discount off future commissions of this character.

wolf-nymph is correct, bidding is only done here, no need to shuffle between the sites :) Also, same here, natural colors with a bit of highlight is so good, glad to see others feel the same way!
