Thankies :D I'm still very new to the whole colour and shading thing but i'm getting better slowly; this didn't turn out too badly for my first attempt at the style :)

Really, though, it's cool seeing you trying different styles out like this. Your art's evolved a lot since I've started watching you. Keep it up! One tip I've heard that really helps a lot with colouring and shading (but is also very hard to remember) is to make your lights lighter and darks darker. Don't be afraid of really strong contrasts (even if they are really scary - at least to me)!

i'll keep that in mind :) I've noticed a lot of learning new styles is having the confidence to do it and I think i'm being teh same wit the colouring, erring on the side of subtly rather than throwing myself into it like I should be.
As for poking him; i'm sure he'll get his own back soon enough XD
