Indeed it is.
The flags on the forward mast starboard stay (that's the top two flags) are the Baja Ha Ha burgee (haven't gotten around to inverting it as a sign of protest of the snobs' event) and below it is the only souvenir I have of almost losing my ship and losing my favorite crewmand and dear friend Cody Edwards; the Bodega Bay Yacht Club burgee. The other two flags are my Mexican courtesy flag and below it, a much smaller American flag which I am required by Mexican law to fly.
The solar panels on the roof on the port side are 2 250W 24 volt panels connected in series to deliver 250W of 48V to my battery backup system (an APC 3000Watt UPS server rack UPS with 8 battery packs). The other two are smaller 12V panels (200W total) hooked up in parallel to deliver 200Watts of 12V to keep my batteries charged.
The structure the panels are mounted on is my pilothouse.
The visible GPS antenna is the temporary location of the backup GPS unit.
The marina in the background is Marina Cortez and behind it is Marina de La Paz. Before that is the anchorage I am in, called the Malecon anchorage for its proximity to the Malecon; the "main drag" of La Paz.
I don't know when, or even if, I will get over how much better things are for me here, and how much everyone else I talk to says the same thing.
What the hell are you doing up there? Get out of the damn snow and come down and play. I call furmeet!
