A story from Nancy:

Nancy lived with her daddy, he took good care of her and she was always the center of his world. Tummy rubs, treats, a nice warm spot on his bed or lap, and nice long pets whenever she wanted.
After a while though, he started bringing home a female that eventually moved in. This female constantly took up his time and attention and even stole her warm spot on his bed! The female was trouble but was obviously going no where, so Nancy tolerated her, letting her pet her from time to time, if she was feeling nice that day. Eventually she accepted the female's presence, after all, the female did also bring her food, so she wasn't all that bad.
Then the female started getting fat, "Good" Nancy would think to herself, maybe her daddy would lose interest in her and things could go back to the way they were. But no, instead he seemed even more invested in her! It just wasn't fair... and too make matters worse, her daddy and the now fat female had to leave for a few days and returned home with a loud, horrible stinking little monster! It took even MORE attention from her! And even took her spot on her daddy's lap!! As it got bigger it started to chase her and touch her with it's fat sticky fingers, it seemed like the torment would never end!
Eventually, the beasts got big enough that it could give her snacks and food, she could tolerate it a little better now, it also gave her pats and tummy rubs, in fact it even look like a little mini version of her daddy, so it wasn't all that bad. But then the female got fat again, and once again they disappeared and came back with yet another screaming, stinking, little monster, and all Nancy could do was sigh to herself and think "Not again..."
