An idea I had after looking at a friend's Rifts books at MFF. I like the idea of a sneaky robot raccoon making its way through the ventilation ducts of a ship watching everything that's going on.

Actually, that part did not bother me.
It'ts that level-based system and it's compülexity.
I have a very old RIFTS and Palladium Fantasy bok, but it only got worse when I bought 'After the Bomb' which had great rules to creat everything from ferals to anthros and everything between.
Mind you, I love the sourcebooks and the campagins they put out but I can't stand their basic rules. And you know what? I wish it was different. I truely wish it was.
For example, Century Station. That one book has more adventure and campaign possibilties than most Marvel and DC Role-Playing Games I've known together. But even if I could get a superhero group together, no one I know could be persuaded/coerced/forced ( ) to use the Palladium System.
And to top it off, some ideas from the Astro City comic series would fit so well into Century Station.
The old lady recently, that collected and repaired killer-robots, removing the 'Killer' part of their programming during the repair and making them her friends alone would fit in so well.
I could go on and on like that.
Sadly, I can't afford a game I'm not going to play anymore, not even if it's an interesting read. Not anymore. Those days are gone *sigh*

Step #1: Come up with a practical reason why the producers should invest time and money into making it capable of eating people (I'll throw out "kidnapping" and "search and rescue" as possible functions).
Step #2: Make it bigger.
Step #3: Relocate stomach components to back, legs and tail (scale down weaponry if need be).
Step #4: Program it to nom marked targets.
Step #5: Sit back and enjoy the show.

"Sir, there's an issue with the scaled up Robocoons the city is using to clean up garbage."
"What's that, Jenkins?"
"They seem to be classifying sleeping homeless people as litter, and since they installed the trash digestion and processing systems in place of weapons, well..."

Reminds me of a commission I made... my goodness, five years ago now: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/3389381/ , https://www.furaffinity.net/view/3450675/ . In a good way. :)
