This is less of a tutorial, more of a guideline. I've provided two examples of possible digitigrade shapes - one for a mammal, one for a hooved creature. Of course there are many other shapes you can use based on the species, but these are the basic ones.
The breif explanation of how to make patterns after you've made the carved foam is in there via text.
