I feel the pain. My couch is always charging me up whenever I'm on it. Touching anything after that is not too pleasant. Recently I discovered a concrete boulder right next to it, so I'm just gonna peacefully discharge on that if no-one is around. But if someone is, it's fun to surprise them with a "pikachu!"-touch.
