I do remember those days very well, and
foxene has captured that feeling so beautifully in this picture. As I said in her submission, this could be a scene out of my own childhood, complete with the bright, summer day over grassy fields and that feeling that the whole days is yours and is filled to the brim with all kinds of fun and exciting things to do. It's nostalgia of the best kind! And Liane is absolutely adorable in her little overalls and with that big, happy smile on her face. It makes me wish I could be ten years old again, too, and invite her over to play! I have to say I love how Liane looks in braids, too. Makes me wonder how Liane would look with them as an adult.
And my goodness, but Foxene does such beautiful work, doesn't she? The detail on the tree and the grass is really nicely done, and it's so wonderful to see some more art from her! Especially of my favorite fanged bunny!

I'd like to be 10 again just on GPs. Who knows? I might even make some better choices in my life than I did this last time around. ;3
Hmmmm....Liane in braids nowwwwww.......... *looks thoughtful*
I've always loved Foxene's work to bits. Without counting I'll guess I have 50 to 60 or her works. Mostly commissions for me. That tells you something right there.

I don't know if I'd want to be quite that young again. 21, maybe. But yeah, there are times when I think I'd like to be able to go back and do a few things over. But only if it wouldn't keep me from meeting you and all of my wonderful friends! And Liane would be totally adorable in braids! I'd even help braid her hair!
Lucky you! I'm pretty sure I found her thanks to you, and I have always meant to commission her again someday. She has always been one of my favorites, too!

Hey....I'd settle for 10 years younger if I could get it. But yeah. Early 20's would be fine.Help me build that time machine willya?
I've been commisssioning Foxene since she first got to FA and I'll continue till I no longer can for whatever reason. If you want a pic from her, I'd commision it soon. Just a hint. ;3

No.
I remember the days when you had to go to a field and roll all the hay bales into the barn, or cut scrub near the creek or go eeling down by the river. Adventuring in the great outdoors is always more fun when you don't have to actually work in it.
Aaah, I remember the days of going into town, seeing all the hot tar roads in the summer sun, the endless buildings, 10, 20, 30 of them even! Being able to get strange things, like frozen juice and milk duds.
Good times, good times.

When I was young I had a bunny, Sugar, who was actually a cat born in the body of a bunny. She ate mice, she attacked everything, she coughed up blood and nobody knew why, but she never actually died. (This was the time before expensive pet vets.) She may have been an ancestress of yours.
Aaah but where else can a bun display their crossdressing fetish on national TV? And you've got to think of the side benefits, such as the massive, massive amount of fangirls. I mean, I shudder to think how many illegitimate offspring he has scattered around the place by now. (There WAS a minor scandal a while back, had to settle out of court remember? Two of 'em even got their own show out of the deal. Babs and Buster, no relation? hah, on your mother's side sure...)
I'd argue with the broad, but dammit, ever since solar powered flashlights took off... https://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/adv.....182638672.html
But isn't that remarkable? They were a joke invention when I was at school. Solar powered flashlight, only useful in bright sunlight, ha ha! But someone took such a simple idea and thought 'Why couldn't this work?' How many ideas now are so jokingly dismissed? Certainly solar power has been a laughingstock for a long time, as has the electric car. but now that they're starting to make serious money... (Tax them! ban their sale! It'll ruin the economy!)
But it is also said 'The supporters of the old way don't change, they just die and are replaced.'
And idea are beginning to change alright; like I said, solar power USED to be 'Pfft, ridiculous, don't spend money on it.' NOW it's 'IT's making money? Give it to me!' It's like getting a sick foal, nursing it, caring for it, staying up with it o' nights and watching it slowly, ever so slowly, gain strength. Then when it's maturing and can ride seeing some fat git mount it with spurs.

That's electric cars; the ones that people are trying to ban the sale of in several states. http://preservefreedom.org/new-jers.....electric-cars/
All the entrenched 'big money' companies are gonna fight electric cars, solar, wind.....any change that threatens their bottom line or status quo , to the death. And for some of them these new technologies probably WILL sound the death knell. (and rightfully so, in my opinion)
Such a cute lil bunny! She's so happy and carefree and I wanna come play so much! Tag, or hide-and-seek, or oh, there's so many fun things to do in a big, sunny field! Love the outfit, especially the cut-off overalls. Funny thing, I used to dress like that when I was a girl, too! Though mine never had hearts and flowers on 'em. Too bad, too!
