That might fly if you were 14 or something. But you're 20 years old, telling people to not mention things that might help you become a better artist, yet you refuse to give a real reason.

So really, why do you not want criticism?

You could say all day long that it's "Just because" and that you don't have to give a reason why. That's true, you could do that, but that would just prove that all you would do is get butthurt if someone pointed out a flaw in your work, and either get mad about it, or flat out ignore it.

So yeah, you can hide behind that "I don't have to say why" reason, which would let us know what kind of "artist" you truly are, or you could just start taking crit when it's needed.

Wanna know why every piece of art in your gallery contains the same amount of skill and also the same amount of flaws? It's because on every piece in your gallery, you make sure to say, "No crit plz ^^"

I'm not trying to prove anything in particular about yourself. I don't even know you. I just got fed up with people like you who come to art sites only to build a fortress of solitude around themselves, and choose only to listen to what they want to hear. They are pathetic, selectively listening to only the things that will make their ego larger, ignoring the things that will actually make them better.

Like I said, just a suggestion, but maybe you should think about opening up to constructive, POSTIIVE criticism if your art is important to you at all, otherwise you'll just continue to be yet another joke of an artist like so many people here and on deviantART are. Bye.

Mame, I assure you I never intended for you to get so upset about this. I really don't appreciate you making me seem like I'm some elitist, who thinks everyone is beneath him, that I'm the best, and I refuse to listen to reason. I'm just a normal guy, trying his best to get by in life, like everyone else. I'm not looking to start drama, debates or fights, its not in my nature.If you got to know me, you would find out very quickly, I'm the opposite of what you think I am. I'm here and on DA, to simply make friends, have a good time, and to draw time to time. That's it. I'm at a comfortable art level. I'm not trying to be the next Leonardo da Vinci. Just because i prefer no crit, does NOT mean I don't care about my own art. I put everything I have into my work, and I think I do a pretty good job, considering I draw everything with only a computer mouse.I prefer no crit. Well, if you read, I already stated that I don't know you. :) I was never upset at anything. Also, thank you for finally giving a reason, because that was my entire point.
