No matter how upset I am, my rats are so adorable and distracting I can't be sad when I'm visiting with them <333 Their names are Freya and Chiisai (I remaned her a few times before that one stuck). Yes they sit on my head and shoulder just like this :3
Truth be told I wanted male rats because they are more cuddly (girls squirm and won't sit still) and I wanted different colored rats
But female is all that were available and only white rats are legal in Alaska because their senses are dulled compared to normal rats (you'd never know that with mine, they're so agile and fast)
I love my furbabies and I wish rats and mice had a longer lifespan </3
Very thankful that my awesome mom lets me have them since she has a fear of rodents haha
I thought about adding my Maine Coon to this pic cuz I love her just as much in a different way, but I never let my cat in the room when I'm handling my girls so I decided not to XD

Omg this is the cutest thing ever!! I feel you on how great they are as pets, I used to have mice and they each were amazing and had their own little distinct personalities. My first mouse was a plain white feeder mouse and she outlived quite a few of my fancy mice, and was one of the most unique of them all. And omg you have a Maine Coon??? I have a Domestic Long Hair that def has Maine Coon in him, love Maine Coons they are gorgeous! I stopped owning mice when I got my kitties cause I couldn't handle them as much as I wanted, but I so want to again one day, or ratties ; ;

Yes I have a Maine coon, I didn't pick one out intentionally tho. I found her living in a sand box at a play ground and she jumped into my arms. I looked and.looked for her owner but never found them. I meant to take her to the shelter but ended up keeping her. She has temperament issues but she's the most quirky, expressive sassy cat I've ever owned. :3
