If you're in the US, options are very limited for the ST205. With that stupid 25-year importation law you're looking at about 2020 for a legal import. There's a couple of people that have done gray market imports, while a couple of others have welded a '205 floorpan into a FWD car and threw the driveline in. I don't know how safe I'd feel in one of those. While they're pretty rare here, the older ST165 (4th gen) and ST185 (5th gen) cars can be found, though finding a good one that isn't beaten to a pulp is proving quite difficult; by my figures about 2,500 ST165s and 1,700 ST185s were imported here.
All that being said if you're serious about looking for a GT-Four, I'd suggest the '185. Many '165 parts are NLA from Toyota; they were kinda hard to get when I owned mine ten years ago. The '165 has a first-generation 3SGTE and is significantly different from the second-gen unit used in the ST185/SW20 MR2. Parts are more easily found for the later engines, and there's still aftermarket support for the '185.
However, personally since I'm one of those serious nostalgia nuts, my plans are to pick up another '165.
