The Merran are a humanoid race that resemble different types of wild and domestic canines. They have a strong sense of smell, and/or a keen sense of hearing. A powerful bite allows them to defend themselves or hunt. Their colors are always natural hues ranging from white to black and a variety of browns and fur patterns.

While smaller than their Terrean cousins, the Merrans are more intelligent and curious and arm themselves with a variety of technology to handle whatever situation they encounter.
