When Darren happened upon the Smash Bros Universe he befriended the Greninja there. The two of them fought Master and Crazy Hand, and soon its various forms. The battle left Greninja with a few minor scars, but he still had his love for Darren, and the love of inflation in tact.

What I recommend, is just go in on 9.0 all the time and just try and beat it that way.
Use customs, what I use is the Vampire Badge (if you managed to beat 8 Mii Fighters in Cruel Smash with Lucina)
then equip the strongest Attack badge,
then the strongest defense badge.
This usually gives you like
Atk: +80
Def: +10
Spd: -40
These stats help.
And of course, spam whatever items apear on the screen.
