"Want to help me find my nuts?"
"Very tempting Hammy, very tempting."
Just some little trivia on the dvd of Over The Hedge- check out the Spanish language track for the voice actor of Hammy making a high pitched squeak when he's bawling as RJ's leaves (right after he tells the "weed hacker" story). Also listen to the voice actor for RJ do a growled voice prior to the "Crazy Rabid Squirrel" scene (specifically the line by RJ that goes "What we're goin' for is a vicious, man-eating, rabid squirrel. Can you handle that?). Another thing I found amusing was the scene where Ozzie the possum plays dead and the animals are trying to steal the cooler. When the group bumps the sidewalk the Spanish language track has Hammy screaming "Ay! Mi espalda!" (Ow! My back!) I just found the inflection and tone by the voice actors very funny in these moments.

I know. The ones near my house don't ever even think of getting that close. Guess the DC squirrels are kinda forced to be by a lot of people just with where they reside. I am sure it is only through years of people feeding and interacting with them that they built up a lack of fear to people. Sure there are other places that this happens, just haven't personally seen that anywhere but in DC though.
Yeah, the squirrels in Stanley Park in Vancouver, BC are very friendly. It's funny since there are signs everywhere that say, "Do Not Feed the Squirrels." But you know people do, since the squirrels actually go up to people and beg! I used to have a few really good pictures of just how close they come up.
Nice picture of you and your cousin, by the way! (Yes, I call squirrels my 'cousins'. XD)
