Vincent's backstory has come to me in fits and starts, images and glimpses. He is caretaker to the Castle of Ways, a nexus of reality dedicated to the protection of the multiverse. If you're reading a comic or watching a cartoon or TV show, and you see some nameless character in the background moving purposefully, it might be Vincent in dimensional-shapeshifted disguise, off to repair some crack in reality or provide aid to someone in need. (Yes, I cribbed off of Quantum Leap. It was a good show. :) )

But he's not always busy, and when he's not saving the multiverse, he has time to tend to his beloved roses in the castle courtyard.
