This is one of the first pieces of art from the Taking Request #3. This one goes out to Dragonherat07 who ask me in quotes under the comment section of Taking Request #3 “How about this for a request? Could you do one of Vector himself as a taur protecting Nicole (also as a taur) battling against Metal Sonic? You can use this pic as reference that may help for Vector and Nicole [link] ^^”. The request was simple enough but I had one question to ask him before I start. I reply right under Dragonheart07 request “Should Metal Sonic is a taur too“? Day later he sent his answer. “Yeah that could work if you want. That'll be interesting to see. ^^” Once I got my answer I was ready to begin working on the request.


The only problem I had is when I was drawing the characters. You see drawing Vector and Nicole as taur wasn’t the difficult part even though this is the first time I ever drawing these character it was the fact that I have never seen a picture of Metal Sonic as a taur before. If I was going to make a Metal Sonic taur two things must happen. One, he must look like Metal Sonic even if he a taur. And two, he has to look like he can fly, because the original Metal Sonic has the ability to fly. I first started out Googling images of Metal Sonic in his Dark form seen in Sonic Heroes. Then I copy Metal Sonic from head to torso and dropping his black cape. Next I Google up Rush the dog from the original Megaman series and started taking notes. After the notes I took some of the features of Rush and then added then to Metal Sonic underbody. The result is a Metal Sonic that as the features of the original and the taur body of a robotic dog.
