William stops to take a rare, momentary pause in the fleet's arduous trek up north. The fleet needs to resupply, and it would take at least three more weeks to reach Edenport. The colonel is restless, the settlers to the north even more so, but in this moment, he can set everything else aside and breath, and remember why he came out here in the first place.
