a gifty pic for Wicked Sairah who is just a sweetheart and deserved something warm, airy and bright c:.
Originally wanted to draw her anthro char Proudfoot but lately been in a more quad mood. I hope this cheers you up a tiny bit hon!! *hugs*
This idea popped into my head while working on my werewolf painting and I HAD to get it out on ';paper', if you will. The idea is a little fennec walking across a desert that's just had a bountiful rainfall.
Enjoy!
Tools: Open canvas, tablet, ps cs3
Size: 20"x9"
time taken: ? done between other projects
Prints: yes.

What a wonderful gift for that person. :3
It is difficult for me to avert my eyes from the water and those wonderful colours. It really looks like traditional artwork. I guess it's one of OC's strength to offer tools that make a digital painting look traditional. I have never painted a picture with that program yet.
You did such an amazing job on the lighting and depth again.

This was something I have done when I used my tablet the very first time. It really feels altogether softer and fluid. I opened OC a few days ago and tried some brush strokes and was rather impressed how they reacted when I painted over certain colours...
And I'm even more impressed now because you coloured the entire picture in PS CS3. I absolutely love the texture. I guess there is a lot more I still need to learn about that neverending program. : D
You're very welcome!
