Endless Realms bestiary - Incubus
Bestiary artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
Bwahaha, this guy was fun :b although to be honest, I'm not 100% happy with how he turned out - something about the colour palette? Also, I was intending to give him a bit more embellishment on his clothing, little bits of gold or silver scrollwork, hoping to make him look a bit like lordly without losing his ruggedness, but it ended up looking pretty gaudy, so I went with making it look like tooling in the leather instead.
I'm also a bit sad, because my husband jokingly asked why I didn't draw him naked. "Uh, because the illustrations for this game are supposed to stay in the PG-13 range." Ah, but you could have had him coming out of a steamy shower or equally steamy dream-cloud, clad in only the most ephemeral and dreamy of wisps! "Hmm... Yeah..." Oh no, what's that? The wisp has blown away? Now there's nothing to hide my gloriously large and intimidating manhood! Whatever will you do?...
... so yeah, I kinda wish I had done that, now :V Stupid sexy husband XD

OMG JUST THANK YOU! Geez someone who finally made one right. xD And everyone watch out for their penor it has spikes on it..fair warning unless you into that lol. And if the color pallet bugs you it might be because they are sometimes depicted with blue skin. O:

Haha, wow! So glad you like him XD I tried hard to capitalize on a number of potential points of interest (aside from the femme-boy look, I opted for hunky/muscular instead :b) - strong, physically imposing, beautiful but still rugged, looking rich/powerful but still dangerous, confident...
Hm, nah, it's not the blue skin thing... I think I just wanted a few brighter colours on his outfit to make it stand out more, or something like that, but meh.

*chuckles* Gotta have an incubus if you have a succubus! I practically insisted, haha. Again, though, I sort of feel like when it comes to unnaturally seductive/attractive demons, they could elicit interest in even the most asexual of people :b Just extra tough if you already have a thing for their type XD
*nods* I had a bit of a trouble with the broodmother - I'm not necessarily a huge fan of spiders, but I generally think they actually look kinda cute the bigger they are, or when you see close up photos of them, but I needed her to be scary. I wanted to make her a bit furry or spiny like a tarantula, but thought it'd just bring out the cuteness I was trying to avoid :b
