I've been into kangaroos lately. This is a little doodle art of my kangaroo Rider. I normally only do "predatory" anthros, but Rider's sexy cannot be denied.

Procoptodon. I was on the dig that found one of the most complete skulls of one. I still remember it - someone swing a mattock into the dirt, and noticed a few specks of a different colour. Turned out the mattock blade had just shaved the edge of the skull. Talk about lucky.
We were mainly digging up diprotodon on that dig - giant wombats, about the size of a rhino. I personally dug up a femur.

Actually, archaeology/paleontology is a lot less exciting that people think In the movies, they brush away a few grains of dirt, and - voila! In the real world, you spend days picking away with an old screwdriver, just to get one bone.
But, yeah, it was pretty exciting, truth be told, for a young science nerd.
