Born female, he was cared for by his mother and marital father, until their tragic death in a house fire when he was less than a season old. Rescued by Thek 'Vekim, who answered his screaming. He was raised on a farm outside the 'Terom State walls, and mentored by Thek to be a boy. He has only ever answered to male pronouns and reacts rudely (usually with a hail of swear words) to other labels/accusations. He is very under-educated about women and their ways. To avoid women he refuses to return home from deployment, when forced he returns to his mentor farm to work until his next deployment. He is well known to be 'motherly' to misguided/ill-disciplined/bully/bullied warriors that have much potential if shown a better path.
He does not take the chest wraps off. Takes extreme care and planning when he bathes to avoid exposing himself to anyone. He has a deep fear of being alone with a lone male, and will often insure he stays near his commanding officer, a member of his team, a trusted warrior, or in a room with plenty of witnesses.
He was raised to purposely deepen his voice to prevent exposing his true gender. It is now his first reaction, but he still worries and has constant fears of being discovered. Very few know of his gender, and he likes it that way.
He is naturally calm in most situations, when angered he often curses and slanders the one angering him. When his 'adopted' warriors are in situations he can be calm and gentle one moment and in a bloodthirsty rage the next simply to protect them. (Think angry mama)
He is the last of his linage.
