Just wondering... but how do you go about making the mannequin for trying the suits out. Surely you cant use the dtd because you cut it up for patterning?

oh no, i don't ever cut up DTDs to make patterns, doing that has always seemed like a waste of a DTD to me!

i stuff the DTD and take measurements from it and use those to create the patterns, then try the suit on the dtd, and make any adjustments if necessary.
