Please do not start a discussion here about how raptors should look. His design and the choice to have his feathers basically being hair equivalent was made on base of appeal.

Alright, here is the newest addition to my character pool. This guy has been in the making for faaaaaar too long, but I still say the result was well worth it!


Name: Joshua, but almost exclusively known by his nickname "Snarl", due to his facial scar
Age: 26
Species: Raptor
Height: 6'1"
Build: Athletic
Special Posessions:
-His goggles, which besides their common use as eye protection during sand/duststorms are actually scavenged technology. They can give limited nightvision and protect from bright flashes by darkening their lenses momentarily.
Usually worn around his neck when not in use.
-His bow, which was passed on to him by his foster father. A more obvious piece of technology, that has a quickly collapsible design for easier transport and higher accuracy.

Created as a tie in character to Miko-Chan's Scout and her backstory (expect pictures of these two together in the future!). Her world being a post-apocalyptic setting, Snarl is a hunter and survivalist, who can manage to get along in the hostile environment for rather extended periods of time.
He comes of as a loner kind of guy first, but actually values company greatly. He has been basically an honorary member of the Rusted Rose clan, but turned away a full membership for reasons unknown.
He actually is committed to another obligation, which stops him from fully becoming part of the clan, even if he wanted (which he does).

He prefers the bow over firearms, since bullets are much more difficult to come by and they lack subtlety. And said subtlety is exactly his modus operandi - he prefers ambushes and surprise attacks and is not above using traps and poisons to dispatch of dangerous enemies.
