I haven't played a Pokemon game since Sapphire a few years back, but I still have an interest towards them despite that.
So many new, unique and unusual, not to mention some just plain silly, species have been added, but I'm still fond of the originals, including my favorite of all. :3
I always liked Raichu more than Pikachu, I love its colors, its look, everything. Of course, when I played, I always made sure to level my Pikachu up first before evolving, so his stats would be more even and he was able to learn the right moves. I always thought of Raichu as the head of my six, he almost never lost a fight. ^^ I always wanted my own Raichu as well, heh.

Awww, this is adorible, and I totaly agree with ya. In ever one of my Pokemon games (besides yellow) I've always had a spacific Raichu as it is one of my favorites as well hehehe, good thing too, because no matter what generation we know there is going to be a Pikachu in the area hehehe.
But anyway, you did a fantastic job, the Raichu looks absolutly adorible, Not to mention very well drawn, and colored, and the happy face it has makes it hard not to smile with it. *nod*
