Back when people filmed movies with actual cameras, they took great pains to avoid lens flare. Now that movies are created artificially on computers, people go to great pains to make fake lens flares. Similarly I've heard CDs with fake vinyl surface noise added. It's amusing to me the way that every new medium tries to replicate the flaws of older media.
In the thumbnail I thought that pink lens flare was actually a strawberry mark on the Wolf Queen's rump where her hapless victim had goosed her. It would better explain what we're seeing...

It's amusing to me the way that every new medium tries to replicate the flaws of older media.
