On December 15th, in 1967 the Silver Bridge in Point Pleasant collapsed killing 46 people. This tragedy is widely connected to the Mothman, whether people think he caused it or was trying to warn of it's impending failure, it is an intriguing piece of cryptozoolgical history. So of course it was inevitable that I choose the Mothman to represent the month of December and bring this year's calendar to a close. The Mothman is said to be a 7ft tall, man-like creature with large wings. It has huge glowing red eyes, that seem to emanate from it's chest, so mesmerizing that it is frequently the only thing that witnesses tend to remember.

I'm really glad so many people have enjoyed seeing my monsters each month and I have really enjoyed painting them and hearing all about your experiences and interest in these mysterious beasts.
