Amazing title, I know. Sarcasm aside, the title is also a WIP, as is potentially the character's name, but I wanted to share some of what I've been up to of late. The final version of this will likely be a notable overhaul of this rendition (unless I get comments along the lines of "this is a draft? Reads finished to me), as I seem to work better when I get it all down once, get a feel for what I'm trying to say, and then refine it on a second writing.

As for the piece itself, it's an introduction to a character I've been working on for a bit, a fruit bat anthro named Renard who operates as an agent for DIRGE (Demonic Incursion Response and Global Enforcement) in the capacity of demon hunter and exorcist. He's also one of the most easy going, zig-zag thinking individuals you'll ever meet, despite his profession. But there is a method to his madness (allegedly), as you'll read (or have read, if you started there), that makes him good at what he does.

P.S. That DIRGE acronym was made on the fly, I'm curious to know if it sounds good or odd.
