Not entirely on board with these guys, yet.
I love the idea- but it hasn't clicked for me yet.
There are two other dragon adoptables I've designed up, but they haven't been sitting in Photoshop for nearly as long as these derps have- so I'm tossing them out there.
Meet Aspen and Mason.
Mason is just your typical lemur, and even though she looks like she's going to disembowel him- she loves him deep down.
Maybe?
Aspen is an earth dragon.
A concept I made up back in 2012 when I first designed my characters Ashnyr the viking, and Fafnir her loyalest dragon companion. (If you can call burning her eye out then being kinda sorry 'loyal')
Of course, I never thought of a birch dragon until this year. Previously it's been...other types of dragons.
SoonToBeAnnounced.
But she appears, for the most part, to be very similar looking to a birch, poplar, or aspen tree.
And just like a reptile sheds it's skin, I want her to shed her 'bark'- just like how Aspen trees shed their bark in peels.
I think it would also be cool if she could use those peelings as aids to keeping a fire burning. Seeing as, in my storyline earth dragons have a very weak capability for fire and probably can't expel enough to cause any significant damage without helping it in some other way.
I originally put these up during the timeout, but like my angry Seven picture (and like, ten thousand commissions) I took it down after realizing it wasn't going through.
I almost didn't put it up now, but I figured 'eh, what the hell'. Might as well figure out if adoptables like this couple are interesting to anyone at all, other than me.

Also posting so that people have an opportunity to give me their advice on their coloring, personalities, you name it.
Since I'm not doing anything with these dudes for now, I'm all ears for some interactive character building from my watchers :>
P.S. Sorry for shit drawing :C
In the last several weeks I must have drawn, erased, and redrawn her about a hundred times- and I don't need to be wasting time on stuff that isn't commissions. Mason has just stayed absolutely the same /headdesk
So in light of that, I'll pick back up on these uhh-- sometimeIdon'tevenknow.

Your adopt/original character ideas are seriously the most unique I have ever seen on the site. You think of and churn out more original ideas than anyone I know and most are years in the making. You are indeed entirely creative and quite an inspiration when it comes to story telling and history for your darling babies I'm thinking pale pastels for him, maybe yellows? I can just imagine him being more of a Prince Charming to her more kind but rough and tumble personality.....
Gosh these two are gorgeous, I love your Original Characters, such beautiful concepts for each of them.
I think they look so cute together too, I love em both so much 8v8 ohnoishipitalreadyhahah.
When I first saw this i just pictured him curling up, and laying down on her chest/stomach and his tail wrapped around her leg (or her tail)
also adding little braids to her hairand adding flowers in her hair too fff haha okay i'll shut up now.
But seriously love the concept and designs of these two <3! can't wait to possibly? see more of these two and more of these awesome designs.
