Bobby gets the scare of a lifetime when he meets up with the Spirit of Friendship Yet To Come.

This is the single creepiest audio story chapter I've ever gone through writing. First you have Dipper as The Spirit of Friendship Yet To Come, which, in itself, terrifies Bobby, then you have Bobby discovering Dipper replaced him with Wally, then to top it off, Bobby learning that he still has to deal with the divorce. Throwing all this at Bobby at once sends him into a spiral that was difficult for me to write, let alone record. The kicker though, and the thing that makes this the hardest part for me to listen to is Dipper's line "Do you really miss me?" That is both scary as he heck to me because of the voice , and extremely upsetting because it drives the point home that Bobby truly needs Dipper.

On a much lighter note, this is also the first time, timeline-wise, that the voice for Wally is used. He is used in the various audio stories many times, but, since the events of this story take place before the first time Wally is mentioned in The Beach Bears, that makes this Wally's first appearance, even though, technically, it's just in the form of a dream.
