A colored version of my earlier submission featuring Tsenaya. She's a little more fleshed out now, and I think I finally (finally) figured out a halfway decent way to do her hair.
This particular image is featured on my table sign, and soon, my website (should have it kinda up hopefully this weekend).

You know, at first, in my head her eyes were blue...then when I tried it on the character way back in 2004, I noted that it was waaaay too much blue on the character. Something needed to jump out of all that blue! The main options were yellow, and Green. I chose the green because for some weird reason, I can never seem to shade yellow eyes properly X3!
Ya, I seem to remember them being something like metallic blue at some point.
Green is a good choice, (you can always add in a shade of blue on them too! ), I´m a sucker for a girl with jade eyes. :D
Hmm, I found that yellow goes great with amber or a hint of red/orange, the contrast makes the yellow stand out more.
I´ll have to OC with you some time so we can experiment on that, if you want. :P

Hooray! I've time to comment, and this picture is finally colored!
First off... (XD) I'd like to say I've been waiting to see this picture in color for quite a while and you do not disappoint. What to say... what to say? I guess I'll start by saying that without any naughty bits showing, this picture is more appealing than a lot of pictures with naughty bits, so kudos there. (I'd also like to mention that the way you manged the tail/panties conundrum that has plauged so many is quite nicely done.
As always, I'm fond of this shading style: executed excellently, though the tail confuses me slightly.
Lessee, love the feet. They're adorable. Her muzzle, as muzzles drawn by you frequently are, is beautiful. The eyes, very lovely and piercing. The little fur strands around the elbows and shoulders show quality attention to detail.
...I could talk bloody forever about this picture due to it's quality and my... surpisingly good mood, so I'll just move onto my favorite part.
THE PANTS! AMAHGAHD. They're great, and the lines are so smooth and lovely, perfectly conforming to beautifully proportioned legs just as cloth would naturally... and the little squiggle behind the right knee is fun too.
Phenomenal job, Scappo. You have given me a smile, and for that, I salute you!

I'm really glad you like it! I was actually afraid that the purple top would clash with the rest of her ensemble (I'm so terrible at picking out clothes for chicks X3!! I only noticed that the tail was ever so slightly off when I was nearly done with the image (as tends to happen with me sometimes). I decided that it wouldn't be worth trying to go in and fix it, since this image was primarily meant to be a simple model sheet, and a background image for my website (which is online btw :3).
The pants were fun, I actually tried to reference them from the way my own jeans hang off my legs (bringing them closer in to accentuate her curves of course ;)! I was pleased with the way they came out. I'm glad I could bring a smile to your face!
