tambourine seems kinda abruptly cut, also missing the 2nd hit (tamb always has 2 hits, in one direction, then the other)

Good input. I'm bad at finding good samples... I was thinking it was more of a light cymbal hit than a tambourine. But if I ever finish this song all the instruments will likely be different anyhow.

do you have an electric piano? o:
always good for basic samples or just roughing out the song before refining
also i think theres a good many free sample libraries out there, probably even themed by instrument
i used to have 5 DVDs worth of sound samples when i was really into music production, but all my work got wiped out and i sorta fell away from it after that.
also i would love to help you out if you have any questions about sounds and what, i was a sound technician for 15 years and did the sound for at least 12 weddings
just cuz i'm immature doesn't mean i don't know anything ;3
(i play dumb cuz its easier than sounding smart.)

Thanks for the offer. I'm actually not really doing much with music at the moment... most of the stuff I've been posting has been older experiments, as filler since I haven't been drawing much recently. In a few months I'm hoping to move to a new place, and maybe then I'll have the space to make a little noise.
