Just in time for the holidays, I came up with a brand-new "EFF" ("Extraordinarily Fat Furries") comic gag - this time, with yours truly packing on all those yuletide pounds...
Specifically, it's another redefined phrase I've included in my "EFF Dictionary". My inspiration came last week, when I was listening to a classical music radio station, which was playing all sorts of Christmas music (from "The Hallelujah Chorus" of Handel's "Messiah", to modern-day variations of contemporary Christmas tunes - like "Frosty the Snowman" - done in the style of Mozart), when the disc jockey made an announcement about a local south Florida church holding a "Christmas Mass" later in December...
Those two words - 'Christmas' and 'Mass' - got stuck in my head for a while, until I'd realized that this would make for an ideal 'fat furry' gag. And, rather than have one of the usual behemoths (from the "FA" menagerie) exhibit my redefined version of the phrase, I had my bobcat 'fursona' (dressed up like 'Santa') demonstrate it, in the form of a 'before and after' image (with a variety of Christmas goodies providing the 'after' effect). I hope some of you will enjoy it (and provide me with the usual 'feedback')...
