I like to think they come with super hearing!

A Fennec leaves an iPod in the corner of a library, headphones loose on the ground, hits play, takes a seat far away. He's listenning to songs nobody else can hear, trying to drown out all the tiny ambient sounds so he can read in peace.

That's a very interesting image. Very pleasant to contemplate. Esp. because I've worked in a library before (Any ipods being left about would have been nicked in 5 minutes flat )

I also like to think that fennecs, what with all their ear fluff, need to keep it regularly clipped and cut, and if they don't sometimes when they go out into the countryside they can end up with leaves and bits of vegetation stuck in their ear fluff and they have to comb it carefully.

Also, if they're not careful headphones can just fall into their ears and get lost.

I'd love to rub those ears, they look so soft.
