when I was in junior year of high school, I asked my teacher about how to make a particular difficult decision, though I knew she couldn't help me make it directly. she taught me a specific set of physical motions to perform: stomp on the ground with one foot, "NO". stomp on the ground with the other foot, "YES". "NO, YES, NO, YES, NO, YES," as long as it takes to think about it and come to a conclusion, but she said always end in "YES". I've always believed that that may cause some kind of bias but at the same time it's kept me wondering -- perhaps it's just symbolic of the fact that no matter what, it is likely that things will be okay for us and that there will be worth to life at least some of the time. I prefer to think of it that way than the "YES/NO" referring to any particular decision.
I hope my story was worthwhile to read.

I got so caught up in my story that I forgot to say what I originally wanted to say! -- the colors in this really resonate with me. I feel that they are innately meditative and representative of consciousness itself. consciousness is what drives these opposites to exist. I think the concept of opposites is inherently linked to entropy, but that's another discussion.
