When I first read this contest the first image in my mind was me offering up my heart to a very specific person. But while the emotion is serious, painting that would have been cliché. I was thinking a lot about what could be my gift - until I finally realized: the thing I want to give to her more than anything is... happiness! I want her to be happy. And I could remember many moments we spent together, that made us both happy. The book and the glowing images represent all the memories of those happy moments we had together, and I can only hope those memories will bring happiness.
The glowing images all symbolize specific things, for example the castle tower stands for the places we've been together, the locomotive for our travels, the katana for the time we practiced martial arts together, the apple for all the fun and joy and the nuzzling horses for all the special moments. But these are just random fragments from all the memories we share, for there is much more than I could possibly depict.
And also, the artwork itself is intended to be a gift to kyeramoon. Bring the good memories with yourself on your journeys.
