"Ouch!" Rebecca pulled away from the loose board. A brief, throbbing pain shot through her foot and made Rebecca wish she could take the time to rub it. Of course actually doing so would have been a very careless idea in a place where danger lurked around every corner.
She continued on and tried to ignore her stubbed foot, but the pain just seemed to get even worse, as if it had swollen enough to press against the inside of her boot. She entertained the possibility for a moment and then dismissed it with a nervous scoff, or would have if she didn't feel her bare foot against the rough grain of the boarded floor. Her worry mounted further as her calves also expanded and shredded whatever was initially left of the boots. And it didn't stop there. Underneath her pants new muscle tremor-ed and grew to give her legs a more solid frame. There were even a series of grinding noises when the growth accelerated up to her hips. Rebecca stood wide-armed in place and disbelievingly flexed the deadly razors that had once been her toes. "Wh-what's happening to me?!"
