Original Song Performed and Written by Myself. It's not good singing as I rushed it. It's from a few years ago. I like the guitar for this song and that's my reason for posting it.
Lyrics:
When you told me that you love me
Like a fool I believed
all the empty words as being real
I'm easily deceived.
Through the hours and days, they linger on
and my heart is always beating
for a chance to be the one
without a love so fleeting...
As I walked away from you
you were staring at the sun
wishing that'd I'd come to learn
that your heart exists for no-one
no-one
So I asked you if you want me
as I tried to hold your hand
But nothing I could say or do
could make you understand
And the weeks and months, they carry on
And my Love for you is not leaving
I couldn't live with nothing left
You're what has kept me breathing
As you walked away from me
I was staring at the sun
Willing for its kiss to burn my existance
into no-one..
no-one...
no-one.

You may feel that the lyrics were rushed, but they still sound great. The only thing I'd say that I usually don't would be to lessen the harmonics/background voice when you get to the chorus those twop times. It seems to be overpowering your ead voice a bit. I love the song, and as usual your voice carries greatly.
Liked the song, it was a great attempt. Could be better; rushed, as you said.
I'm no professional music connoisseur, but if there's one criticism I could make is that there's so many high notes in your voice.. if not all of them. I started to hum along with it, and was expecting a dip in tone somewhere, but it never came.
Just a bit of criticism. Lovely work regardless. :3

Heya,
Sorry it's been 2 weeks since you posted and I am just replying now!
This song is a struggle for me, even though I wrote it. I think originally it was in a lower key, actually... Is that what you mean? The notes are all kinda up at one end. Personally, I like to a challenge when I sing... This is an odd song really, even I think so :P
I'd record this again, probably, but in a comfortable key. I find it a strain and it shows. I have a good range but I tend to end up singing quite high in songs. It's like, Utada Hikaru's way of singing, though she does sometimes sing really low and then really high. In fact, some of her osngs I find really difficult because they are at both ends of the scale.
Anyway, thanks for the crits. I do like them as well as the 100% good comments. Its cool with me!

I was afraid either you or your fans would go nuts at me. X: Its happened before when I tried to critique someone.. you seemed nice though. cc;
Anyhoo, I'm not professionally able to critique in any way whatsoever; this is just my personal preference speaking. I listen to lots of light and airy songs, and this one -- while nice -- doesn't quite fit my bill. If you do re-record it, however, try to add a few more dips to your voice.. as a personal request. <_<;
