You are right, sir! He's actually a half-breed that lives on Earth. Doesn't even know exactly what he is. He feels like a misfit. I would like to try to link him to the same story as R&C but that'll take some effort. I don't want it to seem too far-fetched for either story.
I recentlyl played the new R&C for the Ps3 not too long ago. There was a mention of Ratchet's father where he dissappeared in his travels a long time ago. You could use that as an opening, suggesting that perhaps his dad made it to Earth at some point and had a lil fun. Badda bing, out comes Rocket. lol.
